What if my gym does not participate in the One Pass fitness network?

We encourage you to visit the One Pass website to search for participating locations closest to you. If you do not see your desired location listed, you can submit an online gym nomination form to suggest adding that site. After you complete your gym and fitness location search, there will be a link above the results that says "Don't see your favorite gym? Nominate it here." Please click this link to open the web form to complete your gym nomination form.

Until that gym joins the One Pass network, you will not be able to use your One Pass fitness benefit there.

What if I am already enrolled at a participating One Pass fitness location and paying membership dues?

If you are already enrolled at a participating One Pass fitness location and paying membership dues, you will need to notify the gym or fitness location that you are now eligible for One Pass through your health plan to receive your membership at no cost.

Will I need to pay a gym or fitness location sign-up fee or sign a contract?

You will not be charged a gym or fitness location enrollment or initiation fee. The enrollment or initiation fee at participating fitness locations will be waived for members who are eligible and enrolled in One Pass. You may be required to sign a contract with zero fees directly with the gym or fitness location. Different locations have different policies and procedures. Please contact the participating gym or fitness location to learn more.

How will gyms and fitness locations in the One Pass fitness network know that I am eligible for this benefit?

Upon your first visit to a participating fitness location after your One Pass benefit takes effect (January 1, 2023), let an employee know that you are an Independence Blue Cross member and that you now have a fitness membership through One Pass. The fitness location will verify your eligibility through the partner portal. They will sign you up on their standard contract that has zero enrollment fees and zero monthly dues and provide you with a membership card, key tag, or access to their mobile app. Going forward, you will check into the fitness location each time you visit using the gym's membership card, key tag, or app.

You should contact the specific location(s) you are interested in joining to learn more.

Do I have unlimited gym access?

You have unlimited access to the number of core fitness locations you access. However, for some premium locations*, there are limitations to how many classes you can take per month. Can I use multiple participating fitness locations?

Yes. Your One Pass fitness membership allows you to use multiple participating gyms and fitness locations during the same month. You will need to present your One Pass member code to each new participating gym or fitness location you want to use upon your first visit. The staff will enroll you in One Pass at that fitness location, providing access to a standard membership or a select number of fitness classes. You can even use other locations while traveling throughout the country at any time.

Will I get a One Pass member card?

You will use your One Pass member code to enroll in the gym or fitness location upon your first visit. Your member code will also be mailed to you.

How does caregiver access work?

Members can bring in a caregiver to assist them with navigating around the gym and getting on the equipment. Caregivers are not allowed to work out themselves. The caregiver will sign up on the fitness location's guest registry every time they visit, and they will not pay a guest fee.

How do I know what locations allow caregiver access?

When searching for participating gyms and fitness locations, you can filter results to only show locations that allow caregiver access. Additionally, each gym and fitness location card will display the available features for that location, including whether caregiver access is permitted.

What if I forget my One Pass member code at home?
